DISQUALIFIED MasterChef contestant Mat Beyer's cooking ambitions aren't completely fried, with hints he may be readmitted to the reality show.
Five weeks after Beyer was caught with a mobile phone and disqualified, rumours claim the 24-year-old might be allowed back into the competition, despite episodes featuring his axing set to air this week.
The IT worker was allegedly holed up in a Sydney hotel room and given a gag order by producers from the Ten Network series after his removal from the contest in late May.
Beyer's father Michael told The Sunday Telegraph he had suspicions about the show's reason for silencing his son.
"He has been told not to say anything so they must have something in the wings or want to boost their ratings," Mr Beyer said.
The show's producers have remained tight-lipped about Beyer's fate, refusing to even confirm he had been axed.
