  • Student creates Brave Robot, posts on YouTube
  • Robot is equipped with 22 servo motors
  • Wants to develop a robot to take part in robotic slugfests

IT may not be as smooth as Michael Bay's CGI creations but this cool Transformer robot is certainly less wooden.

Created by 29-year-old Japanese student Kenji Ishida who posted his ?Brave Robot? on YouTube and immediately had web geeks salivating.

?SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY,? MaxSparta commented on the video.

Ishida says the robot is equipped with 22 servo motors and is the eighth iteration of the Brave Robot series.

His original idea was to develop a robot to participate in robotic slugfests against other inventors, Geek.com reports.

Judging by the Brave Robot?s mean right uppercut, Ishida has clearly been watchingHugh Jackman in Real Steel.

Until the Brave Robot hits the shops, I guess we'll have to put up with cardboard boxes and crayons - just like American Idol contestant DrewBeaumier.
