ACTOR Nick Stahl, who was reported missing by his wife, emailed friends to tell them he has checked into drug rehab, TMZ reported.
The Terminator 3 star sent the group email Friday, but did not include his wife as a recipient, sources told the website.
Rose Stahl filed a missing persons report with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) on Monday, saying she last saw her husband May 9 and feared his disappearance could be connected to drugs.
In the email, Stahl reportedly said he was safe and spending 30 days in treatment. He also apologised for the worry he caused.
An LAPD representative told TMZ the missing persons case remained open because an email was not sufficient cause for it to be closed.
Stahl, 32, appeared in the 2003 film Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, in the role of John Connor.
