Matt Tubbs: Was among the goals again on Saturday as Crawley saw off Bristol City
Crawley manager Steve Evans has revealed that the club have already fended off one approach for prolific frontman Matt Tubbs.
The 27-year-old striker provided the attacking spark for the Red Devils last season as they surged to promotion into the Football League.
He has kept his foot well and truly on the gas this term, with 16 goals already added to his impressive tally.
It comes as no surprise to learn that his exploits have attracted attention from afar.
Crawley are, however, in the fortunate position of not having to part with their most saleable assets and Evans is hoping the club can retain Tubbs' services for the foreseeable future.

After seeing Tubbs net the only goal of the game in a 1-0 FA Cup third round victory over Championship side Bristol City on Saturday, Evans said: "We signed Tubbs for 50,000 and what a great signing he looks like now.
"You don't give Tubbs two chances in a game because you know he'll take one of them.
"He's a prolific goalscorer and always works hard for the team and was really unfortunate not to have had a hat-trick today.
"We've turned down an offer for Tubbs and we know that it will be difficult to hold on to him, but until we receive a big enough offer he's a Crawley Town player and will continue to do a job for the team."
