SpongeBob could definitely have used the help of close pals Patrick Star and Sandy Cheeks as he went it alone and came off second best.
Local cops eventually broke up the foul-mouthed battle as a laughing crowd soaked up all the action.
And let's hope no kids were watching - SpongeBob was forced to ditch the SquarePants in public.
"Awwwwww, you're not SpongeBob," said one passer-by.
