Tompsett: Stable condition
Doctors are confident Isabel Tompsett has sustained no serious neck or spinal injuries after her fall at Fakenham on Sunday.
Tompsett was having her first ride for trainer David Thompson but her mount Leopold crashed out at the third flight in the Aylsham Show-Bank Holiday 29th August Lady Amateur Riders' Handicap Hurdle.
Injured Jockeys Fund chief executive Lisa Hancock reports no significant change in her condition and she remains stable.
"Isabel appears slightly more comfortable as the doctors are confident that she has no neck or spinal injury and as such have been able to remove her neck brace," said Hancock.
"She is still heavily sedated and there is likely to be no change of any significance in the next 48 to 72 hours."
