Sanchez: Happy with a draw against Hereford
Barnet boss Lawrie Sanchez was satisfied with a point from their 1-1 draw at home to League Two relegation rivals Hereford on Friday night.
Substitute Ben May's first-half equaliser cancelled out Delroy Facey's opener at Underhill and maintained Barnet's three-point cushion over Hereford and the relegation zone.
"It was two teams fighting for their lives and we knew it wouldn't be an easy game," said Sanchez.
"A point each is more important for us than it is for them and I would much rather be where we are than where Macclesfield or Hereford are because it is still down to us what happens.
"Obviously we wanted to win but the bottom line was that we couldn't lose this match."
