Pablo Andujar: Will look to defend his Casablanca title against compatriot Ramos
Defending champion Pablo Andujar will meet fellow Spaniard Albert Ramos in the final of the Hassan II Open in Casablanca on Sunday.
Both players enjoyed straight-sets wins in the semi-finals, Andujar defeating Italian Flavio Cipolla 6-3 7-5 and Ramos winning 6-3 7-6 (9-7) against Russian Igor Andreev.
Andujar looked on course for a comfortable progression to the final when he took the first set 6-3 before Cipolla made him work harder in the second.
Like his fellow Spaniard Ramos easily won the first set but had to work hard in the second which he took 9-7 after a tense tie-break.
Ramos only needed two break points to take the opening set and his 100 percent conversion rate was much better than his opponent who only managed to take one of his own nine break points.
