"The biggest concern is that he's fighting a guy who is a bob-and-weave-get-low-type short guy - and that is something he's not fought in the past."
Emanuel Steward Quotes of the week
The world heavyweight champion is set to defend his titles in a mandatory IBF bout against a Frenchman who only recently moved up from cruiserweight to challenge in the top division.
Klitschko is expected to comfortably deal with an opponent who is seven centimetres shorter and 30lb lighter, and while his trainer agrees he should come through victorious he feels he has everything to lose.
Steward told Ringside: "It's a fight that Wladimir has to take in order to keep his IBF position and his world championships.
"It's not a great fight, but it's a really challenging fight in the fact that no-one gives him any credibility going into this fight.
"It's a fight that he can lose as a heavyweight and it's a no-win situation for Wladimir.
"The biggest concern is that he's fighting a guy who is a bob-and-weave-get-low-type short guy - and that is something he's not fought in the past."
Peak
The Dusseldorf bout will be Klitschko's 60th professional fight, but Steward believes he still has three years left in him.
And he says Klitschko is stronger, quicker and more focused than at any other time in his career.
"I think Wladimir's at his peak right now," Steward added.
"The way he's looking in terms of his speed and punching power and his desire and interest in the sport he will stay at that peak for at least another three years."
Klitschko won his last fight on points against David Haye and has admitted he was disappointed he failed to knock the Englishman out.
And while he is aiming for a big win against Mormeck, he told Ringside he will not underestimate his opponent.
He said: "He will be very aggressive, very explosive, he will move forward and he will be similar to Mike Tyson with his style. He will move a lot with his head and he will throw a lot of punches from different angles.
"But I'm stopping promising those knock-outs. Do you know why? I promised to knock out David Haye and I felt so bad that I didn't.
"You know what? I will promise to do anything and everything to win this fight as clear as possible and the best win is a win by knockout."
