HAVE you ever wondered what it might be like to play Angry Birds in real life?
At Westfield Sydney, children and other passers-by got the chance to do just that.
Plush-toy birds rolled around the ankles of contestants who holstered them into an oversized slingshot and fired them across the room.
A team of helpers reset the green pigs and cardboard castle after each attempt.
The results were a bit mixed, as you can see in the video above. But aside from a few bruised egos, nobody was hurt.
Angry Birds has been downloaded more than 200 million times, according to its creators, and has been listed by Apple as the number one paid iPhone app in more than 67 countries.
The slingshot stunt was part of a promotional campaign for LG's smartphone the Optimus Black, and pop culture website pedestrian.tv.
