YET another video game database has been hacked, though this time it's not exactly, well... timely.
Game developer BioWare today alerted customers to a security breach related to 2002 title Neverwinter Nights.
"We recently learned that hackers gained access to the decade-old BioWare server system supporting the Neverwinter Nights forums," it said.
BioWare is a subsidiary of Electronic Arts, or EA. It said information connected to users' EA accounts may have been stolen.
The stolen information could include usernames, passwords, names, phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses and birth dates.

BioWare said no credit card data was stolen.
"We have determined that no credit card data was compromised from the servers, nor did we ever have or store sensitive data like social security numbers," it said.
BioWare said it had changed the password of all affected accounts, and directed users to a webpage where they could reset it.
The game developer also urged customers who used the same password on other sites to change it there as well, and to report any suspicious emails and account activity to EA.
