Menorah: Wayward Lad entry
Three of the top two-mile novice chasers in the land could clash at Kempton on December 27 with Peddlers Cross, Sprinter Sacre and Menorah all engaged in he williamhill.com Novices' Chase, registered as The Wayward Lad.
Peddlers Cross and Menorah were second and fifth in the last Champion Hurdle and while the former has made a flawless transition to fences, the latter unseated his rider on his first attempt before finishing fourth in the International Hurdle.
Nicky Henderson's Sprinter Sacre was electric on his chasing debut at Doncaster, while For Non Stop ran Al Ferof very close at Sandown last time.
Smart mare Alasi and Harry Hunt complete a select field.
Henderson also has a strong representation in the other Grade Two, the williamhill.com Desert Orchid Chase, with Finian's Rainbow set to reappear.
The Aintree winner and Arkle runner-up is among eight entries headed by stablemate Bellvano as well as Wishfull Thinking, Oiseau de Nuit, Ghizao, Kinkeel, Takeroc and Oumeyade.
