Ledley King: The Spurs defender is seen as one of the greats by manager Harry Redknapp
Harry Redknapp believes the form of skipper Ledley King is the main reason for Tottenham's surge up the Premier League table.
The defender has figured in eight of the club's nine consecutive wins they have registered this year and the 31-year-old is seen as something of a lucky charm.
Spurs have not lost a league game when King has been playing since August last year.
And after suffering a groin injury and chronic knee problems, the North London giants have dropped just two points in the last 13 top-flight games he has played.
King, who is unable to train properly, is still at the top of his game, which Redknapp insists is sensational.

"A few years ago it looked like he might retire, but he has come back and he's been amazing," he said.
"He just comes in and jogs on this anti-gravity machine which means only 40 per cent of his bodyweight pounds on to the machine. That stops him hurting his knee.
"His record is amazing. I can't remember the last time we lost when he played. In the 10-game run that we've had, he's played every game except one. That's no coincidence.
"He would have been as good as anyone in the world if he hadn't had these injuries he has had for so many years now."
