Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini feels that record signing Sergio Aguero is still not at full strength despite his stunning two-goal debut against Swansea.
The 38million Argentine came on for the last half hour of City's 4-0 demolition of the newly-promoted Swans to stunning effect, linking up brilliantly with David Silva and also proving an assist for the Spaniard.
The Italian resisted the temptation to start Aguero from the off, but with his side taking the lead through Edin Dzeko shortly before the hour, he allowed his new marquee signing to take centre stage.
"I think he needs to recover as he only finished the Copa America three weeks ago," Mancini told Sky Sports 1.
Fantastic
"He needs another two to three weeks to be 100%, maybe. For me he's a fantastic striker, young, and he's going to be a fantastic player for us."
Mancini was not only pleased with Aguero's impact, but was also delighted with his side's performance, where they demonstrated the talents that could see a real challenge to Manchester United's Premier League crown.
"I am delighted with this performance," he added.
"In the first half, Swansea played very well. We had some problems, then we pressed them and had some chances and in the end I am very happy."
