ACTOR Tom Hardy talks about what happened when he was got into a fight with Shia LaBeouf on the set of an upcoming film.
Shia LaBeouf said in an interview in Details magazine that he did not get on with Tom Hardy whilst filming The Wettest County in the World and had a backstage brawl. The Transformers star said that Hardy "never did that roughhouse stuff with me again", The Daily Telegraph reported.
Now Hardy claims that a punch from LaBeouf knocked him out.
"I got knocked out by Shia LaBeouf, actually. In Wettest County, apparently," Hardy told Den of Geek.
Despite his statement being met with "incredulous laughter", Hardy continued: "No, he did. He knocked me out sparko. Out cold. He's a bad, bad boy. He is. He's quite intimidating as well. He's a scary dude."
Describing how the fight came about, Hardy said: "He just attacked me. He was drinking moonshine. I was wearing a cardigan, and er, went down."
The 33-year-old Hardy revealed that he regained consciousness in the arms of his personal trainer Pnut.
He said: "[Pnut] was concerned for me. I was like, 'What was that? It was lightning fast'. And he said, 'That was Shia'. I said, 'F**kin' hell. Can we go home now?' 'No, we've still got three weeks to finish.''"
Hardy can next be seen starring opposite Joel Edgerton and Nick Nolte in Warrior, opening in US cinemas in September. He is currently filming the Batman sequel The Dark Knight Rises, in which he plays villain Bane.
