Great Britain's women's foil team fell at the quarter-final stage of the European Fencing Championships in Sheffield on Monday.
The hosts were beaten 39-34 by an Italy side who went on to defeat Russia in the final.
It was a similar story for the GB's women's wheelchair epee team as they were convincingly beaten in their quarter-final tie by eventual winners Hungary, losing 45-23.
