EMILY Thorne will get down and dirty to get her revenge. That means setting houses on fire, betraying friendships and plotting deaths.
But for the actress who plays her, getting down and dirty means a raunchy shoot for GQ.
Emily VanCamp tugs on an unbuttoned red cardigan and reveals a lacy black bra and gorgeous body in the US edition of the men's magazine.
She also sends up the tough girl persona of her Revenge heroine with a couple of water pistols and some bubble gum.
VanCamp, 26, loves that she gets to play both the high society belle and the ruthless avenger on the hit TV show.
"I always feel like I'm playing a character when I'm in a beautiful dress, with my hair coiffed. I like getting down and dirty. It's really fun. There's nothing better than setting an a**hole's house on fire. It's those moments when I think, 'I love my job!'"
She also tells GQ that she's a tomboy at heart. "I did ballet, which taught me how to be poised and graceful, but still, to this day I'd rather be fishing than going to some glamorous party. It's so therapeutic."
