BRYNNE Edelsten slammed a sequined shoe into rival Big Brother last night.

The premiere of Brynne Edelsten: My Bedazzled Life was a winner for Channel 7 with 930,000 viewers nationally.

Big Brother slumped to 790,000 viewers ? around 60,000 less than last Thursday ? one of its worst results.

Brynne also cooked Ten?s Jamie?s 30 Minute Meals which averaged 499,000 viewers.

The My Bedazzled Life ratings match those for the first episode of Being Lara Bingle earlier this year.

Being Lara Bingle premiered to 925,000 viewers on Channel Ten in June.

Brynne will be hoping My Bedazzled Life doesn?t follow Bingle?s ratings pattern.

The finale of Being Lara Bingle fell to a dismal 387,000 viewers.

The return of Beauty and the Geek Australia grabbed solid, if not spectacular, ratings.

Seven?s reality show averaged 892,000 viewers nationally.

That was enough to beat Nine?s AFP: Australian Federal Police (716,000) and Ten?s Law & Order: SVU (544,000).
