Rampaging deer tackles girl in shop

A convenience store customer in Georgia, USA, was knocked off her feet when a deer crashed through the store window. CCTV footage captures this bizarre occurrence.

Oh deer! Yes, it had to be said. It's not every day a deer crashes through a window and lands on some poor unsuspecting girl buying a can of coke.

It happened in the US state of Georgia in late February to young lady by the name of Samantha Irons, who now says "I have a lot of pain ..."

Samantha was inside a Kwick Check when a deer - out of the blue - crashed through the front door and landed right on top of her just as she was about to leave the store.

The shop attendant said: "At first I thought it was a dog ... but someone said 'no' it's a dear."

Note the awesome on-the-scene camera work of the news camera man of the deer "slipping and sliding" down the isle next to the fridge about 1:15 mins into the report.

But it was Samantha's dad who summed up her ordeal: "It's just puts everything back into perspective, you never know ... um ... that you don't have to think in an instant..."

You have to admit, it's not every day a deer crashing through the front door of a Kwick Check and bowling over a young girl can bring perspective ...
