OFFICIALS have been left stumped by a bright white explosion of light that was caught on film during a live news broadcast.
The blast occurred during reporters Andrea Robinson's traffic segment, illuminating the sky in the distance behind her briefly and airing live to the audience.
The employees of the news station in Phoenix, Arizona, initially thought the explosion may have been a transformer, however when FOX 10 checked with local utility providers they were informed that it was doubtful as no transformers had blown nearby.
For now, it remains a mystery.
