HOMER Simpson once said it and it seems Matilda Ledger is a proponent: "You don't win friends with salad."
The adorable six-year old was spotted dining with Hollywood's newest it couple - her mum Michelle Williams and How I Met Your Mother actor Jason Segel.
But judging by some pictures from their lunch date, little Ledger wasn't too impressed with her mums leafy greens.
The trio spent the weekend bonding in New York City, attending the Broadway show Jersey Boys, before stopping for lunch and hitting the shops for some retail therapy.
The daughter of late Aussie actor, Heath Ledger, turns seven in October and still looks the spitting image of her father.
A source told Us Weekly Segel has become somewhat of a father figure to William's little girl in recent months.
"He's been doing all sorts of 'dad stuff' with her, like drawing and playing music," the source explained.
