YOUTUBE sensation Sophia Lee Brownlee and her cousin Rosie Grace McClelland got the surprise of their young lives when they came face to face with idol Nicki Minaj during a TV appearance yesterday.
Dressed in their now famous pink ballerina outfits and tiaras, the pair squealed with excitement as talk show host Ellen DeGeneres introduced them to Minaj who emerged from backstage.
Eight-year-old Sophia jumped into the singer's arms, overwhelmed with excitement, yelling: "You're here! You're here!"
The British youngster and her cousin, 5, achieved instant fame when their rendition of Minaj's hit Super Bass went viral, achieving 8 million views on YouTube so far.
Minaj, 28, said she was so impressed when she first saw the pair's performance that she had to meet the pint-sized duo.
"Within five seconds of seeing this video I was calling everyone," she said.
"I was also receiving a billion emails. Everyone was like: 'You have to see this little girl'.
"She blew me away ... I said, superstar. Seriously we are watching a journey that?s about to be amazing."
Minaj told the pair to stay in school and put books first and singing second before joining her little fans for another rendition of the song.
Brownlee now has her own YouTube channel and Twitter account.
