DANNII Minogue had hoped she could repair her relationship with ex, Kris Smith, for the sake of their two-year-old boy, Ethan.
But the chances of that happening now appear to have diminished after UK tabloid The Mirror reported that Smith was now dating a glamour model from Brit dating show Take Me Out.
The Mirror said Smith had been spotted with Sara Beverley Jones in Manchester.
A source told the paper: "Kris and Sara were clearly close ? they spent ages giggling flirtatiously. They were very tactile, and they look great together.
"Kris has known Sara a long time and they have quite a few mutual friends. But recently they?ve grown much closer.
"It's early days but they?re very much into each other."
Smith and Minogue separated in April after months of speculation that their relationship was on the rocks.
Announcing the break-up on Twitter, Minogue wrote: "It brings me great sadness to tell you that Kris & I have separated. We still care for each other & ask for privacy at this difficult time, in particular for our son Ethan who remains our number one priority."
In recent months she has been trying to rebuild the couple's relationship.
Jones, 27, is a former Miss Manchester.
