GLITZY blonde Brynne Edelsten is set to join Channel 7's stable of stars, with insiders confirming the network has bought the rights to her reality show.
Edelsten has been keen to turn herself into a reality siren following her spangly turn on Dancing with the Stars last year, so much so that she and her husband Geoffrey shot a sizzle reel to pitch to networks.
In November, Edelsten had meetings with several networks, all of whom were interested in the fly-on-the-wall project.
The deal with Seven was done just before Christmas.
It is believed Seven is hoping to build a 10-part series around Edelsten capturing her showy lifestyle, her love of daring figure-hugging outfits, her fondness for her bundle-of-fluff pooch Juddy, her many forays down the red carpets, and her relationship with hubby Geoffrey.
The blonde bombshell has been followed by cameras since last July, initially for the sizzle reel and now for the series. Filming is continuing.
Insiders say the footage is surprisingly funny and that US-born Edelsten is endearing and engaging. Just when the show will be confirmed by Seven is unknown.
The reality project getting the green light from a network is a ray of light in what has been a challenging week for the showy couple.
Edelsten's husband Geoffrey is embroiled in legal battles relating to three different ventures - a grey-water recycling business, an investment in the sequel to the film Wolf Creek, and the purchase of a block of apartments in Queensland.
