MICHAEL Jackson's 13-year-old daughter Paris revealed she was "really confused" about having to wear a mask while out in public with her late father and her brothers Prince Michael and Blanket.
"I was really confused. I didn't get why I was wearing a mask," Paris said in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. "But I understand it now - why my dad would want our faces to be covered. When we went out without him we wouldn't be recognized."
Jackson further described how her father fought to help them maintain a "normal childhood," and that Chuck E. Cheese and Toys"R"Us were their favorite places to go, in the interview to air this Sunday on OWN.
"He told us that when he was younger he didn't really have a childhood," she said. "He would always be stuck in the studio singing while the kids were out playing. He wanted us to have that."
She added, "Our dad was a really normal father when he was with us. We would get grounded if we did something bad."
