Living 9000km apart, not met, engaged

AFTER having met on a language learning website, a Brazilian woman and a Belgium man have become engaged after proposing the same way they met- over the internet.

A TEENAGE woman with a desire to learn a new language has fallen for another desire - in love with a man she has never met who lives 9000km away.

Jessica, an 18-year-old from Belo Horizonte in Brazil, met Kenny, who lives in Belgium, on a language-learning website SharedTalk.

The wish to speak a new language quickly became a story of love across two countries 9000 kilometres apart. They are now engaged to be married, Huffington Post reported.�

Jessica and Kenny's blog "Love 9000km Away" provides information about their relationship, which started in October last year.

Kenny, then living in Belarus, found Jessica on SharedTalk and they started talking. Their relationship grew to the extent they were "sleeping with the webcam on" and talking for "12 hours straight."

Kenny proposed to Jessica on September 16 despite having never met her in person.

But Kenny will fly to Brazil to meet Jessica for the first time on October 31.Will their love last.
